England became the third world Twenty20 champions by defeating Australia in the Caribbean. The ICC World Twenty20 2014 is to be held in Bangladesh.
The top two teams from each group will travel to the Super Eight stage of the competition. The super eight will consist of two groups. The top two teams from both groups would play the Super Eight semifinals and the winners of the semi-finals will contest the final would be played for Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium.The winner of this final will be crowned World Champion in Twenty20 cricket. England are the defending champions after winning the 2010 edition in the Caribbean.
